Default New fishery in Larbert.

Passed it today and the sign reads "Glenbervie Trout Fishery - Open all year".

Can't say I know anything about it apart from the land it's on was involved in some planning dispute recently. It can be found on the main road just past Glenbervie Golf Course near the village of Torwood.

Anyone fished it?

therealijn.

It was supposed to be brown trout only ,prices were very high for c and r only or hefty £ for lb to keep maybe changed their mind,a member on here was threatened at the start of this venture but don't think anything came of it.Might be worth a pop up for a look I pass it every day at work.

There is a thread or two on here somewhere about it. There is a couple of puddles. One (the bigger one) brownies only and the other one has rainbows. I think that is right, it was a wee while I popped up for a nose. It isn't particularly pretty at the moment, just a whole in the ground but give it a couple of years for the surrounding plants/trees to become established it may look better.

Would be keen to hear how you get on as would give it a go out of curiosity but personally wouldn't be top of my list of places to go.

Tight lines.
