Default Tweeddale fishing well again, after the spell of bad weather

Recently the weather has been very poor with snow, rain and freezing cold winds. Today saw the sunsine for the first time in a while and the fishing improved. Rods were bending all over and anglers were remarking about the great condition and the fight they were getting of the fish. Blobs, apps bloodworm and diawl bach aswell as various black and yellow lures were taking fish in good numbers.

Thumbs up

Superb day yesterday caught and released 25 including one fish at approx 12lb and 3 others at 8lb. Lots doubles caught by other anglers. Cormorant fished with intermediate line caught most of my fish.

Had yet another great day at Tweeddale today with Edd7, Grant and Scott. We managed over 20 fish between the 4 of us, from 2lb up to a rainbow that Grant caught of approx 12lb. Edd had one of approx 8.5lb in great condition. Sink tip or intermediates with Damsels worked best in the morning and Buzzers later in the day. Superb days fishing even though we all had empty stomachs..never took food with us, only to find out the cafe was closed on a Monday.
