I think in another week or so Stocks will suddenly start fishing it's head off!

Meanwhile, maybe we should start a Stocks Blankers Club!
3 consecutive blanks and you get Lifetime Membership!

how come you bottled out?

Hi Jav07 & Steve,

It was something I considered and then came up with a couple of lame excuses;

fistly, that most of the flies I have tied over the years probably wouldn't meet the rules,

secondly, I may blank although that wouldn't bother me to much,

and third, if I didn't blank .......... I don't like killing fish

The temptation of some friendly competition would probably be fun, and I am aware that Stocks has a couple of teams, but then you have to be able to make quite a committment or risk letting people down.

Any feedback would be appreciated with regards to;

- How many comps you fish per season?

- Any idea of your total costs, including petrol, B & B's, entry fees, etc?

You're welcome to send me a PM if you don't want to reply on the forum.
