Well the pre-season stocking is well under way , the fish are in fine fettle.
there should be at least 60 doubles at large on open weekend
anybody else up for opening weekend? i'm going on sunday hope to see you there

just a quick message for peeps going up for opening week end, the lodge should be open at around 7.30 , & can folk try to park sensibly & quite tight as there may be a lot of cars to fit in the car park, the parking down by the boats is for disabled parking ONLY, tackle can be dropped off down at the jetty but cars must be parked at the top , over flow parking is on the lane just above the car or on the grass opposite please make sure you dont block any roads as there is farm trafic up & down, that out of the way the fishing should be great!! look forwards to seeing you

I emptied the majority of my fly boxes into the bin at the end of last season Darren and I have spent the winter tying patterns that worked for me last year and to some extent the year before; suplementing these with one or two variations on a number of themes

You saved my season last year mate and I haven't forgotten it; I very much owe you one for that. I was hoping to see you at the show last Sunday, but a family issue prevented me from going.

See you on the water this Sunday; I'll be the one all by himself in the boat with a bent rod
