anyone know how its fishin got club outing on saturday and whats the best tactics

Workmates were up last week, and there were thousands of snails and the trout were gorging themselves on them,all below the water stuff then, but it was wet and windy,do a search on snails there are loads of good advice on flies to imitate snails.Let us know how you get on.

im up there on the 18th........After those big 20lb plus carp....cannae wait.....

P.S. 1 fish came off the water last night out of 15 fishers......

the carp can be hard to find mate i used to be a regular at the water the only places i spotted them was round the shallow areas on the dam wall . good luck

Cheers B&B, i'll keep my eye out around the dam and around the weed that i here has sprung at the fishery over the last 2 weeks.

I have booked 4 places and have a spare if anyone is interested.??

i would of took you up on it but the catch & release ticket is pish for 8 hours you can only catch 8 fish then you have to leave what is that all about ,i was speaking to the old owner last sunday at loganlea and he was saying the boy was tellin people it was fishing ***** but i dont know wether this is true.

ive heard the same stories regarding the fishing state at the fishery to date....

I know the C&R rate is poor....8 fish in 8 hrs....in some of my red letter days i've had that in 25mins........not hoping for that....
