Default Gladhouse

Anybody fished Gladhouse recently? Mr Dighty and myself are booked in for tomorrow afternoon/evening. Just wondered if anyone had any idea of how it is fishing, which bits to head for etc.

Thanks

If the wind blows from the east...?

Stay at home...

Its pretty grim in all but great conditions.

I'm getting to borrow a boat for Wednesay and hope the pressure is rising.

Good luck and let us know how you get on.

Yours hopefully.

Not too bad a day. The wind was stronger than forecast and made fishing uncomfortable in open water, although the surface remained fairly smooth without kicking up a big wave. We struggled to catch fish drifting - got only two I think. But made up for it a bit by finding quite a few rising fish in the flat calm water at the shallow top end of the loch in the shelter of the trees. Dighty caught a fair number by hogging the end of the boat nearest all the rising fish and having the unfair advantage of being able to see tiny dries in the failing light. I caught a couple. Nothing very big for either of us - about a 1lb or so.
