Was there 6 weeks ago - dead as a do-do, any update?

We (me and my dad) fished it approx. 8-12 weeks ago in the pouring rain and we had our limit. However, there were only two positions around the lake that we managed to take fish from - just off the far 'point' and directly opposite. It was very hard going and almost impossible to catch if you werent in one of these two positions.

Yes, i was rooted to the spot at the point you mention when i was there, but no luck. I've subsequently learned that it might be closed for awhile because of the weather and water temps but not checked website yet.

Besides there's more than enough seatrout and salmon aorund at the moment to keep me happy
