Default Pitsford Yesterday

the weather yesterday was all over the place, sunshine, showers, wind / no wind. It chopped and changed all day and as a result the fish were either 1-4 ft down when the sun went in, or 10-25ft when it came out - and as a result of the conditions changing literally ever 20 mins you had to chop and change the lines. Most of the fish were sitting directly above the boils and it seemed the rest of the reservior was empty of fish. My boat partner and i struggled to a total of 9 between us and that was fishing HARD! with about 30 lost - they just seemed to want to nip the tail of the flies no matter what size were offered. Most other boats struggled - flies that seemed to work were anyhting brown or black & green.
