Not in good shape by all accounts. The water is the colour of milky coffee and the boats aren't going out as far as I can see. Every time I've been there, there are little or no boats out, but Richard insists fish are being caught - you work it out.

Thumbs down aaaagh

37 rods caught 12 fish 1st team 4 fish. 2nd team 3 fish .3rd team 1fish. 28 blanks.we saw fish being stocked .we all saw fish jumping.
but my fish had lots of argulus lice on the skin. maybe why the fish were jumping and not feeding.
don caster was in the 1st team,i was in the 2nd team.
ps.and a 3lb rainbow jumped right into my boat, this was not counted in the total.

jim

The address is certainly Kingseat Dunfermline.
I see by the comments nothing much has changed.

Why anyone would want to fish there is beyond me.
To me it is a flooded coal bing always was & always will be. Does not matter how many trees they plant.
Been many years since I fished it as a venue for one of our club outings.
I have caught Trout with ragged fins & on one occasion no fins. I saw a Trout of about 6 pounds once & it was blind in one eye.
Do not know what the attraction other than for the usual suspects...the stockie bashing brigade. Naw a total midden will never be back. I'll leave it for the Fifers.
Tight lines

I used to live in Kingseat for about 4 years and I never fished Fitty at all in all the time I lived there, still wouldn't.
