Default Eve Sesh Carron 15th July

After carl (GEORDIECARL) and myself were blown off carron on sat i had to give it a chuck this eve 15th the weather was lookin spot on as i arrived at the car park i could see fish moving in the light ripple , i could,nt get set up quick enough , paid my money and took the boat to the edge of burnhouse bay trout moving to small black flies first drift rose 4 fish but as usual with the broonies hooked three and two threw the hook small hopper , next drift the wind picked up out of the east . the fish went down . put on slow inter and two sussy buzzers went on to take 8 browns and two good bows about 2lb and 3lb , but the east wind killed the rise , but another good trip to carron

Sounds like a good evening, Colin - well done. The wind has been a pain this year - always too much, none or from the east!
