Question is this true

i have heard a lake in oxford has had chemicals put in and all of the fish are dead??

I havn't heard anything Machin me old, but I shall put my somewhat large ears to the ground!!
How is it going for you by the way? maybe during the Summer Hols you may like a day at Farmoor with us? it's there if you like mate.

I think your friend may have heard the story about some chemicals that got into (via a tributary) the River Thames, according to the story a raft of foam was floating downstream and had killed some fish on its way down river. I think the foam was used by the fire brigade to treat a fire and ended up in the river.
