Still looking for info on Caaf and Auldmuir Reservoirs in Ayrshire. Tried in general section - maybe wrong place!

I've been meaning to give these a go as they're not too far from where I live. Would appreciate info on whether waters are brownie only, fly only, best areas etc.

hi there as ive been a member of both these waters all my life i can give you all the info you need the caff is rainbows and browns stocked monthly with bows although there is browns which are wild these are not very big but rest assured there will be big browns there the rainbows are a different story ranging from 2lb up to 4 lb my nephew caught a 7lb bow a couple of seasons ago and relesed it back the auldmuir is browns only although 2 seasons ago rainbows were introduced this didnt work so only browns are stocked now on a monthly basis ranging from 2lb to 4lb also but the feeding in this water is unbeleivable so dont be suprised if there is a 7lb or 8lb lurking if you fancy a bit of company give us a call on 07733236750 my name is davy permits can be bought for 10pound a day entitling you to both waters so if 1 is not fishing try the other a limit of 4 fish then catch and release all the best bud tight lines
