Fished Bushyleaze yesterday plenty of fish showing on the west bank first thing in the morning and less prolific after dinner time. Fish showing around the island all day. The fish were in the top two feet of the water.

The fishing was quite hard as the fish were reluctant to take imitations. Talking to other anglers, one had took his four fish limit stripping a blob on an intermediate, most of them had blanked or just had the one fish all day. Most success for me was on a size 12 black Klinkhammer and a bright orange damsel pattern lure. Ef duck had his fish on an olive damsel.

Upon spooning two of them had absolutey nothing inside them and one had a mixture inside, various flies, few buzzers and what looked like some kind of corixia, so unable to pin point what they were feeding on. Although when water from the lake was put in the spooning tub it was full of daphnea.
