Default Meon Springs

Went there today. Managed three rainbows of a good eating size. One on a tiny buzzer nymph, one on a gold head Walker mayfly nymph and the third on a nondescript brownish dry fly. Lost another on a dry fly, it took the hook off the line. I guess the knot gave out or was a poorly tied

The fish were not all that easy, not just for me but others also found them slow to take.

The thing that I like about Meon is their very fair way of dealing with poor catches. If you don't catch your limit, as paid for, you get a ticket allowing you to get them without paying for them again, on the next visit. Seems like a good idea to get the punters to return.
