local here from simpson valley trout fishery holsworthy devon. I know I havnt been on for a while been busy building my house. Anyway we have had our first double figue rainbow out this year, a cracking 13lb 14oz trout that fell to a small holo buzzer to 6wt gear and a 7lb tippet. lucky angler was James Donald of Sevenoaks Kent whilst on one of his regular vists to devon, he had the fish on his first cast and followed it with another rainbow of 4lb+. lake fishing well with plenty coming out on buzzers, corixa and lures.
