Default Mentieth

I`m fishing the lake on Saturday and haven`t been up since opening week.

Any pointers would be much appreciated.

Cheers

It depends so much upon the conditions. By this time of year dry flies and CDC buzzers should be taking most of the fish on Menteith. But if you get a cold windy day, you may still have to go down on an intermediate or DI-3 and use something big and horrible like a 10LS Cat or AoS. Pray for a good day as there is nothing worse than heaving out a sinker and lures on a water that really suits fine line tactics and dries.

Here is a link that might help: http://www.premier-pages.co.uk/heriot/flies1.htm
