I am going to fish Clavering trout lake for the first time in 3 years.

Just wondering how it is fishing at the moment.

Do you know it has moved ? Carp in the old lake, new lake a little way down the road. last fished it a year ago. Not great.

No idea what it's like now. I've been once since the merged the old trout lake with the carp lake and the place has gone downhill.

I used to fish there for carp, but all the biggies are gone. Apparently they lost a lot of stock last year. The trout lake was good for some surface action, but the fish were a bit ropey.

I won't be back.
