I was float tubing at Haddo this afternoon. A chance to give my new home built 6'6" split cane 4 wt a try out.
Result : over 30 quality trout, best 11 1/2lb 10 1/2lb two blues at 7lb and 5lb and the rest from 2lb upward apart from a 4oz tiger
The best afternoons fishing I have experienced anywhere.
Total cost ? 15quid.
Is that the best value trout fishing around at the moment?

Anytime we have went to Haddo its been really good
