Hi there anyone been at moffat recently, I was there on monday and never even put my rod up as i walked around it. Main fly Loch choked full weed and i never saw a trout all the way around with my mate. Yes water was clear but there was NO fish to be seen first and only time ive been at moffat and not seen fish

The Last time I fished it i had a good few fish to a big muddler pulled across the surface, but like you say the place was full of weed and that was about four years ago....


And if I can remember correct "buzzer bob fitzpatrick" was rattling them on a cdc... it used to be a great wee fishery.


Such a same a nice place too and the water is so clear.
