Good day on the lake today arrived to clear blue sky but the cloud was drawing in so was realy looking forward to getting out . first drift was a long one from international bay along road shore into katies bay di 3 with cats and cormorants was the plan but just as i started drift i could see the odd fish moving then i noticed that the start of a good hatch of olives , set up spare rod with olive snatcher and bibio snatcher and olive suspender buzzer on point first fish covered no joy then another came as i hung the flies on and off in that drift had three fish in boat and lots of slashes at the snatcher took the same drift again but never went as far three on the buzzer solid takes as well but still a few did not connect as the day went on i hade 10 fish landed and as many offers on and off biggest was this one about the 3lb mark the lake has been realy good to me so far this year . so she is due to give me a slap in the face soon , the road shore is holding a load of fish at the moment as the wind changes they will spread out again ,the road shore got very busy as the day went on so i moved to hotel bay but i could only tempt one more fish GREAT DAY ON A GREAT WATER
