Hi All

Had another great day at Carron on Saturday. Fished in Carron bay area all day and had rainbows, stocked and wild browns and a Powan (god they taste good ). Saw the Osprey take a fish pretty close to our boat, brilliant.

If you've not been there before you have to try it.

Glad you stockie bashers are enjoying your new fishery. Keeps you away from real Trout waters.

Highlander,

[QUOTE=Highlander]I think he was being "tongue in cheek"

Not convinced re your hypothesis that it was "tongue in cheek" as the "moaning minnies" quote is from another member.

No doubt fidfish will set the record straight.

Hi Gunner

It was very tongue in cheek but there are still a lot of people who do not realise that there are powan in Carron and that they are protected.

Hi Alan

Go give it a try, you'll love it . You can still fish all your traditional patterns, dries worked really well on Saturday, and if they don't work use some of them unspeakable things you tied up for your trip to Howwood.

Cheers
Kenny

Hi Kenny,

Many thanks for that. " Tongue in cheek " , you never know on this site . I just go on facts.

Must check out Carron but it is a fair way from Aberdeen for a day's fishing.

Many thanks.
