I'm planning to visit Ladybower on Sunday. I've not fished there before. Can anyone tell me how well it's fishing. Thanks.

I was up there a few weeks back with a friend of mine. There were plenty of fish about. I hear on the grapevine that it is still fishing well from the boats. The water is a lot clearer here than people realise so if you are fishing from a boat make sure you stay seated to cast. Let us know how you get on.

Went to Ladybower today and fished from the bank. Rain, rain, rain. One fish took a peacock-bodied spider, but the leader snapped. Had meat pie and chips at the Yorkshire Bridge, which turned out to be the highlight of the day. Would love to visit again, but outside of monsoon season!
