Default Any recommendation's for this weekend

Any recommendations for this weekend fellas...
I'd love to be out on a river or stream somewhere chasing the ladies but not confident enough to go it alone and the lightest gear I have at the moment is a 9' 6# rod (soon to be rectified by a purchase this Friday) and don't have a massive selection of river flies yet, so far I've only managed around 10 trips out mostly guided by Yorkshire folk on the wrong side of the Pennines...

So I'm more than likely going to end up on a stillwater or reservoir somewhere... Don't mind travelling up to about an hour and half to two hours but after some good fishing and scenic views...
Any recommendation's I'm 9/10 miles east of Manchester! Just after a few ideas and locations that are fishing well (not easy stock ponds) I like a challenge but not so I'll end up blanking because it's not been stocked in months

Cheers... Woz

Planning to do Barnsfold again on Sunday Woz, you are welcome to join in, probably me & Fritzcat so far.

We've been doing a half day (6hr) ticket as best value with the early nights at mo. £12 c&r, £16/2F. Starting mid morning 10 or 11 am finish just before dark.
Fished it Sunday and had 8 on a mix of lures on Di3 and various fry patterns etc on the floating line.
