Default Pitsford 17.5.07

Just returned from an afternoon and evening off the bank at Pitsford. Found a few fish between No Fish Point and Stilton Point. Took five between 1lb 8oz and 3lbs 4oz on small (size 14) nymphs fished with a brisk figure-of-eight on a floater. Autopsies showed fish had been feeding on a variety of midge pupae whilst the largest had been taking snails as well. Some fish were taking hatching flies but I could not get them to look at my emergers. All the fish were in excellent condition.
