Default mere beck today

Hello folks, just a quick report on mere beck as I went this morning,it was stocked last week and is fishing very well, took a friend of my brothers who has not been well and not fished for 12 years,he had six rainbows and lots of other twitches and takes,to black green fritz goldhead and small goldhead damsel nymph,i had four fish and quite a lot of other touches, starting off on a cats on a sink tip, then the wind picked up,but was very mils so set up some buzzers on a washing line set up to keep them high as fish were showing, and got takes straight away.other anglers were catching too.jetty pool, trout 1and 2,and the far deeper pools all ben stocked and fishing well.
Tight lines, Gary.

Default mere beck today

Just another quick report I had off gordon today about the fishing for last few days, fishing is still good, even though it has gone colder the last few days, dave dykes took nine yesterday ,mostly on a bloodworm pattern, probably under an indicator as i know dave likes this method there, and he caught his fish in the river pools, which is good to hear someone persevering somewhere else as most ust fish trout one and jetty. Some good fish can be caught in the small ones, run some nymphs through and try your luck, also regular frank parkinson had four fish,on his trusty cats, well done frank, life in the old dog yet!
If it gets tough please try small buzzers, and a copper wire pheasent tail can be good too, fish slowly, buzzers size 12 good 14 better, orange thorax, are always my go to ones.
good luck, Gary.
