Default Bewl or Hanningfield

Just thought i would ask for a compare and contrast between Bewl and Hanningfield as i live in sunny gravesend which is equidistance between the two. I have fished Bewl several times with mixed results but thinking about trying another venue.
If there are any opinions out there please let me know

Hanningfield is less scenic than Bewl but it offers C&R on a standard ticket (Bewl there is no C&R) and the staff are very helpful. It has been fishing very well to buzzers as well as lures although not sure what this week's change in the weather has done.

Bewl has been inconsistent and difficult on occasions. I'd go for Hanningfield, especially with the option of C&R.

Recent reports on both attached below.

I fished Bewl twice and it was somewhat inconsistent. I had 2 fish the first time and lost two others, plus a few missed takes. The second time I had 8 fish, lost another 4 and missed countless others. Almost all the fish have been taken close to shore on cormorants and buzzers.

I haven't fished Hanningfield this year, but apart from last year, it usually fishes really well early on. I found the cats whisker deadly there as well as buzzers.

I am fishing a comp at Hanningfield on the 20th, so I will put a report up after that.

Last time, about three weeks ago, it fished really well to buzzers.
