That's a cracking fish Jim.

Thanks for the info - any particular mini lures you had success with or was more a case of finding the fish? Any previous trips there, we've had to find the fish and then try move with them. Anyone who anchored up usually struggled.

Cheers

it was black and green , but try most patterns. a red headed damsel does well as do cormies. dbs and buzers should come into their own soon. good fishing jim

A cold easterly didn't bode well for fishing on Saturday, but it ended up being a good day. A few fish were caught scratching about on Drimmie bank in the morning (although one of our guys bagged up quickly) using lures and kate mclarens. I got a couple early on but it went quiet very quickly. Headed up to the top of drimmie bay to find fish rising. Fished black buzzers on washing line and had a great afternoon - a coupe of guys fishing off the bank caught loads on dries. Some cracking broonies weighed in and some bigger ones lost!!
A lot of our guys struggled, but there were a few limits weighed in as well.

All in all a good day - well worth a visit.
