hello in answer to this query i have fished many trout lakes over the past years and can say this is 1 of the best fisheries i know, i still go but very occasionaly as my kind fishing friends are generous, i prefere bushyleaze lake as this can be such good fishing and feel sure you will too. this lake has many hot spots, deep runs, and some good shallow areas and you could be in for surprise as there are some cracking big fish but even so the average 2 to 3 lbs puts up a good fight. on a good rise you will see fish everywhere, as for what fly just ask the staff a few days before but take some buzzers red and black, green and black or the like floating line longish leader. try fishing until you see what depth required then maybe use a bob fly or an indicator. so good luck to you all. kind regards flyfishy61
