Default I am sort of bored

As the owner and operator, manager, dogs body, whatever with no anglers, We have had a winter like Ive never seen before, I have been sitting writing a script about how the Goldenloch, got its name etc and also all about what I know about lochs in this area and what I think, however please tell me to stop if its rubbish or if its ok, Its really wierd but not having anglers just now is absolutely hell, I had to go Xmas shopping with Anne and Ive never ever done that before, see tescos never again and as for eating in Dobies what a rip-off, anyway what Ive written is at Golden Loch, Fife

Default Very interesting

It is fascinating to read of the effort that goes into creating a first class fishery. Your history of the local area makes a great read showing how easy it is to miss stuff right under your nose. I can't wait to read the rest of your article. I totally agree with your comments re shopping.

Actually for you that must be really hard, at a time when it blows big holes in your budgets, but it always evens out, you seem to have a really good client base and guys like that are worth so much, I’ve never seen early frost like this since about 1980 and as for snow in November, My Dad kept absolutely a brilliant diary writing in it everyday and as far as I can see there was only ever snow in this area once before in November and that was in 1962 he kept a diary since 1925, our loch has already now got about 5 inches of ice, thank god the snow is off the top, at least the swans stand a chance of not being eaten by the fox, our swans are all lying in the middle of the loch in a bunch on the ice, shaking I dont think they have slept for days
