Default Ice on Menteith

hi all the Lake is totally frozen over. Its not very thick though about 2 inch's at the boats.

Keeps the cormorants out and should have a good head of over wintered trout for the start of next season

Looks braw Douglas! You'll be counting the inches 'till you can all get out on the ice again!.... And the anglers will be counting the days until it's cleared for fishing in the new season again!

How's the snow been out your way? We're buried and I do mean burried.

we still have over a foot of snow in the garden, got plenty sledging done behind the house and a few snowmen built.

Awe no fair!
Too miserable out here for snowmen. Everyone got peed off with the braw weather by day 3 sadly, even the dogs. Although it might be the knitted jumper that put the wee beastie off going out!
