Default Menteith

On the Lake today, and had a few fish (seven for 16 pound) despite the sub-tropical weather! Loch end bay is bursting at the seams with fish around the 2lb mark. When the little cloud there was passed over, the place erupted!

Ghost tip with a cast of black pennell - pearly rib, green holographic daiwl bach, and buzzers in various guises. All fish came to the black pennel and the daiwl bach. There was two or three guys out practicing for the national and they too had a few fish.

One guy claimed he had twenty (mmmmm) despite having a bass bag with two in it. I cut the conversation short after asking what and where. “All over on lots of different stuff” was his reply - *****!

In all honesty, guys like that are few and far between. Maybe he had a national heat this week and though I was trying to weedle information out of him.
