I have heard that the lease for the trout lochs on the Cromlix Estate near Dunblane are up for grabs. Current leaseholder is Gleneagles Hotel who are I believe giving the lease up. Far too nice a fishery to go to waste. Here's hoping some good samaritan comes to the fore.

are the trout lochs stocked with rainbows or are they brown trout waters and are they open for business at the moment

It was stocked with rainbows when I last fished it around 3 years ago. I don't think the water is currently open to the public. Gleneagles guests only.
