Default Fishing in Lincolnshire

Ihave just moved close to Stamford. Apart from the obvious venue of Rutland, can anyone recommend any other location reasonably close?

thanks

Hi Ian.

I live in Market Deeping, 7 miles away. There are loads of venues within 45 minutes drive for me:

Rutland
Grafham
Elinor
Eyebrook
Ringstead

1 Hour:

Ravensthorpe
Pitsford
Manor Farm (open all year)

We're fairly lucky i think !!! Everything there from 5 Acres to 3500. If you want any info, just give us a shout.

Nick

Yeah, Whitehouse Farm. They turned it into a predator lake, filled it with pike, Zander, Catfish and big Eels.

That kinda fooked the trout fishing !!!!!!

Toft Newton , fished yesterday from 14.30 onwards , bright sun and an easterly wind, still managed to pick up 7 fish all on buzzers. Regarding the lease , Steve has withdrawn his application , due to accomodation issues , he is still stocking at 500 fish per week. Their is someone on this forum interested in taking over the lease , but i will let him spill all, if he chooses too. Also heard a whisper that Jason the baliff from about 12 years ago may be interested, whatever its still being stocked and worth a visit.
