Hi guys, I am fishing Mentieth on Thursday and would appreciate any info on what is doing the damage and where about the fish have been caught.

Fished Menteith on Saturday was hard going with a strong wind best areas are Lochend, Road shore, Hotel Bay & Gateside bay.Best flys Booby on the point with Diawl Bach's or Buzzers fished static or very slow fish didnt want to chase but with the wind dropping who knows what kind of mood they will be in

Fished Menteith on Monday. Fish are still well up in the water. Partner and I caught on full floater with a black shipmans, purple buzzer and small unweighted standard cat. As well we both managed to lose round about 10 fish each. There are loads of fish in the Lake. We found them in Gateside bay (all over), the Rookery, Hotel bay and Loch End bay. As usual we found that they switched on for periods and the trick for us was to be there when they were prepared to oblidge.
