Jim i had fish in bright conditions on a fast glass with black frazzle dabbler, frazzle zulu and hot hed ginger damsel, fish were along the road shore, just past second point near island, and then we found the fish between the jetty and "reed/dam" corner, its only a 40-50yrd druft but we had offers and plenty of follows on every drift.

Hope this helps.

BOTH mate......

It was my 1st time on carron, had 2 cracking 1.5lbers to the boat on the damsel and an orange straggle.

Rainbow took the Frazzle dabbler, I also had nips n pulls to a roly poly`d Cat booby and hooked one around 6" long.

Hope you can share some info for beecraigs?

I was up on Saturday and got a granny. Rose 3 fish pretty much in the space of 5 minutes at 10 O'Clock then never had another touch all day. Couldn't believe it It was scorching right enough and near enough a flat calm.

I was with Carl on the day he mentioned, i had 3.5lb rainbow just down from gull island on a gold beaded hares lug. Also 1.5lb broonie at the corner between the jetty and the dam on a fluo orange cats whisker, enede session by being broken by somthing smashing the lure, 8lb Vanish aswell.
The 9lber that was caught that day was on a black rabbit drifting into the Dam wall.
hope this helps a wee bit Jim.

regards Gary
