overworked,underfished is on a distinguished road
Default Witcombe waters???

Thinking of fishing witcombe near gloucester next saturday,Any info on this fishery would be much appreciated.

i have been their once and i did not get a thing. but their are two lakes their and the better one is the one without trees around it because it is better to cast and more people catch more fish on that lake

Default Anywhere else!

Thanks for the reply David,Just thought i would give a thrash bit closer than Farmoor.Any other venues in that area you fish that you would recommend?
I travel from Ross on wye to Gloucster then usually go to Farmoor from there just wanted somewhere to go abit closer for an evening.

You could have a look at Wentwood which lies just off the Newport - Chepstow road. A really nice little fishery with rainbows and browns including some monsters.

the only other places that i would say to go to are lechlade,bushleaze their other lake or santhill because i hear their are some good trout coming out from that lake at the moment
