turn left once you get out of the harbour. there are fish getting caught in that area but its quite shallow. my dad was there on monday and got 6 bows there late in the afternoon. he also told me the stockie lorry was there for about 1/2 hour puting aload of fish in. you should have a good days sport.

Fished butterstone saturday!
blazing sunshine most of the day and it just got hotter and hotter, jackets, fleeces were coming off in every boat, eventually some guys were stripped to the waist!
water was like a mirror, with quite a few rises.
Fishing was really hard, stockies were shoaled up and if you were over them you bagged up, if you werent then you struggled!
we had only four in the boat taken on g/w cats and cat booby on a di3.
i had two hits and two fish on consecutive casts and that was it.
we had 10 boats on the water, 2 bagged up rest were averaging 4 to the boat.
although one guest had a nice 91/2 lb rainbow.
main flys seem to be boobys. and dawl bachs! (one day i'll get a fish on a dawl bach!!)
