I was up at 4.00am and on the road at 5.00am for my first trip with the group, I also now qualify for the Duffers club! Great looking river though, loads of "fishy" looking water so was optimistic of catching nearly to the end

i felt the same way dave i had one on and off but it just looked and felt fishy but ill be back a stunning stretch

i cant make the calder on the 26th of feb im guiding that day but ill be back chris and im gonna try and get to the swale a few times before the eliminator

I'm planning to be on the Calder at the end of the month - It's another river I haven't fished yet, so looking forward to it

Thumbs up Peter more the better for the swale eliminator, No doubt i'll be up and about just before the comp. Remember No fishing a week before the comp!!! Not too sure if the weekend before the comp counts within that weekI'll have to find that one out.Lol

Dave, some cracking Grayling in there well worth the £5. My turn for the 05:00 morning start.
