The Churnet up here near Leek is a bit high still but running clear (i'm mean "clear" in Churnet terms!). It rained heavy on Wednesday night so its had chance to drop back a bit. I would have thought that BB and Dovedale would be OK. Maybe someone else can comment on the latter two???

Hamps was up a bit today - I'm heading out tomorrow as well

Not sure where yet.

Both Dovedale and Bentley Brook were in perfect condition today, running clear and a good level. Photos on blog.

There was even a hatch of olives on The Dove and small trout started rising.

Default LWD needed for The Hamps

I believe that some Large Woody Debris is needed for The Hamps.....will this do

Looks like to working party got carried away with the brushwood bundles. Is that a L&DFFA sign on the tree

There's some serious LWD above the ford at BB that's scraping out a nice pool.

As you mentioned that bit - I'll let you deal with it on the working party.

Where was that picture taken Alex?

I managed three Grayling at Lords Bridge today, the best being just over half a pound - my best Churnet fish so far. The water was blooming freezing!!

Anyone else out today?
