hi peeps i'm new here and just wondered if anyone fishes it and caught anything this year or seen anything,i usually fish in the pollok park area and caught plenty of decent brownies and a couple of sea trout.has anyone heard of any salmon runs yet,i saw plent at the weir in september.

hi there thanks for the welcome,yeah i'm from the southside 2mins from pollok park but can't get out fishing because of the weather and the river aint fishing to good the now and does'nt fish well when high.

yup the weather is **** just now don't think there will be much chance of fishing till wed /thursday at best,iv'e never fished the white cart/black cart but had a look at them.good to know they have a head of fish.

Tried the last couple of years in Linn Park with no luck. Not going to bother this year, give the Clyde a go. Godd to hear that you managed to catch last year.

yeah linn park is pretty poor,theres a bit at busby where they have a couple of rainbows aswell around 2lb mark and aome decent brownies,pollok park is actually quite good in the summer we had loads over the 1lb park and a couple of sea trout usually on maggots in the woods.
