Default Trinitygask River Earn

26/02/07

The First Salmon of the season was caught today by Gordon Kenney, he returned a fresh salmon of approximately 12lb which he caught at the willows on the top beat.

After the high water at the weekend the river has now dropped off nicely and is running clear and is a perfect height for the fly.

There was now been 6 salmon caught on Kinkell

***Newsflash***

The second fresh salmon of the season was caught today by Jim Metcalfe at the the mount stream. it weighed around 6lb and despite conditions being chilly shows there are fish around if your willing to persevere.

The river is starting to drop off now after running high cold and clear for nearly a week. The weather forecast for the next week is fairly settled so we could see some excellent fishing conditions and hopefully some more fish.
