Always fish reservoirs , stillwaters etc but never rivers . First time fly fishing on a river today and caught 2 small but perfect wild broonies on a wee nymph .
Well chuffed with myself and will def be doing a lot more fly fishing on rivers in the future .

Well done, i started river fishing this year on the gryffe and both carts, not blanked on an outing yet, most are just about 5 inches or so and some smaller with 2 so far being over 8 inches, having more fun on the river than i have ever had in a fishery catching big rainbows.

Can't beat fishing the river.
