Does anyone know the up to date position on permits, access etc for this river, mostly from Tuam upstream. I'm finding the "rules and regulations" a bit confusing.

Also whats the posiyion on salmon fishing on this river under the new regs.

It would be good if you could post any info you find out - my wife's Aunt lives on a farm by the Clare up stream of Taum . Lovley wee stream hoping to fish it again during the summer.
