Thumbs up

Nice post. I was weed cutting last night, after a day of exams, and the surface was covered in black smuts, not spinner. No fall tonight either in the wind so the weekend evening fishers should have something to fish amongst. Tom The Gardener says we had a useful 1/4" of rain in three hours; it soaked me through! Wye looks perfect; we should fish together this weekend, where do you fancy? MM with the Osprey? . Will call you Saturday after my ride.

Default Peacock

I've just got back from Disneyland Paris with the kids to be told about new membership , I've rang Peacock straight away to put name down but was told the lady dealing with newbies, was away today, hope I'm not gonna be disappointed I'll have too keep my fingers crossed.

Anyway thanks for the tips and advice RW, were all watching the blog closely

Mick,

I think you'll be OK. I'm sure there were a few places left when I spoke to Jenni on Thursday. Hopefully you'll get in and I'll see you there.

Cheers

Johnny

Nice one

The lower trout beats through Rowsley Meadows are private. Above Haddon Hall, up to Bakewell, a footpath runs along the left bank and meets the river at intervals. Bakewell Showground is public, as is all of the main river and mill streams through town up to Lumford. The footpath above Lakeside runs along a ridge, with the river below. If you want a riverwalk, I'm sure Jan wouldn't mind showing you round.

I know a few carping Seans. One who used to fish Combs when I was on. I'd spend weeks baiting from the Zodiac and he would drop in and catch them . Jan is the keeper on the Wye, John. His whistle-stop tours are famous.
