Do you know if it was the first off the river, Andy? Obviously there are a lot of beats that don't report on Fishspey, but it's the only fish showing.

I hope WG's head will have returned to its normal size by the time you get there; not that I'm at all jealous or anything, you understand...

Just a breif word of thanks to Malcolm ,Lord Geoff and I had a great few days .
Casting the wonderful Carron 75' intermediates we both had Kelts from 5/6lbs to well into double figures(lbs). At one stage following his lordship down the boat pool I was kept busy landing a string of 4 kelts to his lorddship even managing to land one wee one whilst LG was poncing about with a big one ,the day on Craigallichie was spoilt by very high water (over 4ft) still LG had another Kelt and I had one of and on (bound to be a springer )
Very much enjoyed fishing big de- barbed single hairwings, great for C/R
