Default R. Mole South Moulton

Hi, I am not a SW fishing expert as I live in Sussex but hope this helps
When on business in the west I try to combine a bit of pleasure into my trips and use the Angling 2000 scheme. www.angling2000.org.uk
Can't praise it enough.
There is loads of fishing available for the price of a few pints, fantastic value and great fun. Some of it is real commando stuff. I have fished several beats now and always had success. You won't get big fish but on light tackle they really scrap. Mike Weaver has written a couple of published articles on the fishing available.

This is not right on my doorstep but up the road a bit. I think you will find that most of The Mole is in private hands but a word with the E.A. or Exeter Anglin 01392 435591 should give you some info. The 2006 edition of the Anglin 2000 log book only shows two beats in that area and both are on The Little Dart ( trib. of the taw, as the mole is ). One is described as 'Fishing in Lilliput' and the other 'should deliver some exellent brown trout and sea trout with the chance of a Salmon given water'. Look too at www.gethooked.co.uk
Good luck.
Rod.

thanks to you both. it's hard to find it mentioned anywhere! I fished Nick Hart's bit of the Mole last year with his fishing partner. We fished the Bray, Mole and Exe and I can recommend their services. The part of the Mole I am going to is owned by the farmer so I expect it to be fairly wild and 'technical'.
And yes, I am back in the west country for 2 more days of guided bliss. (Thnaks big sis, who buys me the best Christmas pressies!!!!)
