If Dave has sent a pm I guess you have all the info. I think it is just Dave and I from the Teise who are members of the forum. I joined the association last year and spent alot of hours getting to know some of the river and it's beats. It will take a few years to know them all well I think. Yes there is 8 miles, some of it unfishable because the banks are overgrown, but some wonderful stretches in the middle of nowhere. Challenging - lots of roll and catapult casting. Of course the easier parts get fished but I reckon there are a couple of beats where hardly anyone goes and I've seen some huge fish here. That's where I will be concentrating next season
As Dave says there are wild bowns and grayling and stocked browns and rainbows. Upwing hatches and a fair mayfly hatch that really has the fish looking upwards. Huge chub if you fancy a go at those as well. In the winter a couple of beats are open for coarse fishing. Before Christmas I had a mixed bag of perch, chub, chublets and a rainbow and met Dave walking the bank.
