Default river Earn, perthshire

tues 3 pm. River high but clear, well fishable, at least above the Pow. Crieff section fished well in the afternoon (trotting). At Kinkell though, the water was very dirty. Tight lines 07.Keith.

Hi Keith,

Was out for a bit in the morning down the Crieff stretch but didn't manage anything other than a sea trout kelt. Managed a wee bit nymphing but mainly trotting - I felt the water was a bit high and I was pretty much reduced fishing in the back eddies. Must have fallen a bit by the afternoon.

I'll PM for some info.

Norm

The Sepa web site has not updated since the 1st - for Kinkell anyway. Fish tay site has the level for Dalginross (Comrie) but it can be pretty erratic and is hard to compare with what you find downstream.
