Default Paisley Abercorn Angling Club Website

As some of you will already know, the club's website has recently changed to a very different format which includes a front page which operates as a news site/blog with regular articles as well as a facebook page with details of events, photographs and video content.

The plan is to continue to extend the site and we're hopeful that members (and non-members) will check out the site regularly for news and also to read the articles.

Members can also subscribe to the website to receive updates direct to their email via RSS feed.

A couple of recent articles include information on the club's decision to "Go wild" (discontinue stocking and instead focus on good habitat management) as well as an insight into a very recent "intervention" undertaken by one of our bailiffs.

We're keen for members to contribute to the site and become active partners in providing it's content. To this end, we will be holding a competition for the best contribution to the website by a club member this year. This can be photographs of the club's waters, an original article connected with fishing and the club's waters/history, a photographic step by step on how to tie your favourite fly... Whatever you think will interest the people who visit the site. Further details are available on the main page of the website as well as details on how to enter and the all important competition rules.

We hope you will take the time to visit and welcome comments and contributions alike.

Regards

Peter
