A group of us are fishing the river next Sunday. any news on how it is fishing any tips?

Mildly disappointing. The river had not been stocked for a while and were asked not to take any fish!


Apparently there is a local sock disease that is preventing fish being stocked? No discount on the day ticket though!

Pretty decent stretch of river, fast flowing and deep in places. The gilly and management were very friendly and helpful etc.
